November 12, 1982, Indecent Exposure - "SCTV Movie of the Week: The Nutty Lab Assistant (pts 1&2)"
In this skit Ed Grimley plays Jack, lab assistant to the sleazy Dr. Gunzelman. Also working in the lab is the buxom scientist Diane Purdy, who is very creepily sexually harrassed by Gunzelman. Jack is interested in Miss Purdy but cannot act on it - until he accidentally drinks Gunzelman's secret formula and transforms into...John Cougar?! Jack (as John) goes to the nightclub where Gunzelman has taken Miss Purdy, performs "Jack and Diane," and then the potion wears off. Jack runs back to the lab and Miss Purdy follows him - she tells him she loves him no matter what he looks like...but she makes him start drinking everything in the lab anyways!
