"Annoy Hordak and Get Dropped Down the Hole"
A simple game with only one correct solution. As Mantenna from the cartoon She-Ra, it's up to you to prevent Hordak from dropping you into the Fright Zone sewers.

To play these games you have two choices.

To play offline
Download and install a Z-machine intepreter if you haven't got one already. I recommend Frotz. Then download the appropriate .z5 file and open it with your interpreter.

To play online
If clicking on the appropriate link does not start the game automatically, you will have to get it working, obviously. It runs with a Java applet. If you are using IE, you must download the Java Virtual Machine. For Firefox users, you can use Gnusto to play games online. Gnusto hasn't been updated in two years, and so needs a kluge to trick Firefox into allowing you to install it. Go here to download MR Tools Local Install (an extension manager). Close all Firefox windows, then launch Firefox. Go to the Tools menu, Extensions. In the window that appears, select Tools, Make All Compatible. Click the "Get More Extensions" link. Search for and download "Gnusto." (Be sure to tick the box that says "Override 'maxVersion' compatibility checking") Close and re-open Firefox. You should now have "Gnusto" in the Tools menu.

When you open the web page in a browser (assuming Java virtual machine works), you will get a dialog saying that the applet is untrusted and asking if you want to run it anyway - click "Run".

Notes on "Annoy Hordak and Get Dropped Down the Hole"
If you've never played one of these games before, this one is pretty simple. There are very few actions it even recognizes, so try whatever you can think of. Just a tip, typing "z" is the same as typing "wait" and typing "x" is the same as typing "examine". I think that's pretty much all you need to know for this particular game.
