There were 86 episodes of Inspector Gadget made (not including "Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas", which I have not seen) over two seasons. Season One ran during 1983 and '84, and Season Two during 1985 and '86. I am working on providing synopses, comments, and the safety tips for each episode. I would like to include how Quimby delivers the exploding message in each episode as well.

Comments: Burt Sweetly is cool. And I especially love Penny's nightmares about losing her computer book. Of course she's afraid of losing it, even she knows she's just an ordinary kid without its help. ;) Oh, and, watch for a cameo by the Junkyard Cats, from Heathcliff. And check out how Gadget saves Brain here, for a change!
Safety Tip: Never stick a metal object in a toaster

BASIC TRAINING
Ep #: 1-21
Gadget must protect a trainload of important computer parts from M.A.D. hijackers.
Comments: Yeesh. If they couldn't get Dr. Claw's regular voice actor they shouldn't have written any lines for Claw. How awful. And...the Madmobile looks different too - Hey! That's probably not even the real Dr. Claw! I'm sorry but I can't even pay attention to the rest of the episode now. This is all I'm going to talk about. Comments: Wow, Capeman abuses Brain. Anyways, this is the first cartoon shrinking ray I've seen that takes multiple doses to fully shrink the target, even if it doesn't always work that way. And isn't it convenient that a person's underwear will shrink along with the person but no other clothes. ;) (Notice how very carefully the animators made sure we never see Gadget's head uncovered. It's my theory that he doesn't have a top to his head. Think about it. ;)
