I wrote this treatment for an animation writing class I took at the University of Southern California. Since that time I have written out a few more scenes but this script is still not complete. However, all the "gaps" are filled in with exposition.

I thought it would be cool if there was a movie made of this exceptional cartoon series, one made liveaction but with CGI monsters. So I decided to make this my end-of-term project. I am not all that happy with the plot, and feel that it would have been better had I worked with someone else, but it was for a class assignment so I was supposed to work alone. Oh well. :^) . Please keep in mind that this script was written in the heyday (if you could call it that) of the sitcom Sister, Sister and the success of the Mowrey twins. Just in case you are wondering why I would cast them. Heck, I like them, and I thought they would add energy to the screen, enough to keep up with the likes of Ickis. :^)

I admit I have not seen Aaahh!!! Real Monsters much at all since I wrote this script all those years back. Therefore it is possible that events that take place within this story have been contradicted in more recent episodes. Also, there are some things I would like to change in the story, such as introducing the character of the twins' crabby teacher (for whom I would cast Sherman Helmsley), but as I have too many other things to do, I do not plan to do a total rewrite of this script anytime in the near future.

In any case I had a lot of fun writing this, and I hoped that perhaps some people might have fun reading it. So here 'tis, and enjoy! ;^) -Sparky
