San Diego, CA 2006

For our vacation in 2006 we went to San Diego - mostly to hit the Comic-Con but we wanted to see some other stuff too. We spent most of our time in Balboa Park, which has lots of museums as well as the huge San Diego Zoo. So, here we go.


On the way down we stopped at Andersen's Pea Soup Restaurant in Santa Nella, CA.


Then for dinner at Eastside Mario's, my favorite Italian restaurant in Lakewood, CA, where I used to live. Good to see its stil there.

I like this picture. That round thing is a mirror - look close, can you see the face of the nearby portrait reflected in it? I think that looks cool.
