- Once one of the most successful toy companies in the free world,
the Quackerjack
Toys Manufacturing Co. was
felled by bankruptcy when
it failed to keep up with public demand for video games. The company's
eccentric owner (possessing a very weak grasp on reality) blamed
his failure on the popular video game character Whiffle Boy, and
swore revenge. To accomplish this, Quackerjack designed a whole
new line of toys--all of them dangerous--and, using them as weapons,
entered into a life of crime in an attempt to refinance his company
(although he never did get his revenge on Whiffle Boy).

Quackerjack's real name is John ("Jack") Quackerwitz. So says I,
whether Disney likes it or not. Well, actually, I would care
if Disney liked it or not. But that's not the point.
