I first saw this as an adult and totally loved it. I love to watch it every year. (I recorded it on VHS from HBO, I think it was.) I'm lucky to have it. Merry Christmas!

wow, just found this website. I used to love this movie when I was a little kid growing up in the 80s and saw it on HBO

I first saw this as a Childrens matinee in 1969 at age 6-- and looked forward every Christmastime every year after, as it was brought around to local theatres annually. To me, I enjoy it as much as THE WIZARD OF OZ. It has odd qualities that are indescribeable. Any many unsung merits. The last theater showing I saw was in 1979--then it dissapeared theatrically. I have always been obsessed with this film AND it's soundtrack (RCA LP and now thankfully the original score CD!!) I could go on forever about it...like-minded fans are welcome to write--especially if you have any PHOTOS (not screen grabs) available for sharing

I saw this movie back in '66, I'm 49 now, and I loved it. Yes it's campy, but I taped it about 20 years ago on VHS and play it when I decorate for Christmas each year!
